Originally from California, I had always wanted to live in the South. I'm sure I romanticized it all what with the Spanish Moss-covered trees, small towns, unbearable humidity, sippin' sweet tea on the front porch, accent, and the history of it all. Eventually, I wound my way to North Carolina where I happily began living my childhood dream.
